Overall you’ve learned the psychological background to the way in which children learn from their environment (which mainly consists of family members). Now, you can use this information to help teach your children good behaviour and healthy habits.
Use behavioural techniques (classical and operant conditioning) to teach your children to engage in certain behaviours and habits. This can be related to eating vegetables, overcoming shyness, cleaning up your toys, going to bed at bedtime, potty training, and other similar tasks.
Use observational techniques (such as modelling) to demonstrate appropriate behaviour in a variety of social situations. Whether that be sharing toys, problem solving, social interactions, or interpreting new situations.
